Crime is Stacy’s number 1 issue. That’s why she presses to properly fund all areas of the criminal justice system while holding them accountable for improvement. Her focus on strengthening neighborhoods and improving opportunities for children will lead to long-term crime reduction.

Stacy has a record of battling corruption and wasteful spending to assure that our tax dollars go where they are most needed and where they will be most effective.  Better use of city funds will lead to more recreation opportunities for kids, better streets, and better city services overall.

From Magazine Street to Central City, from the Irish Channel to Claiborne Avenue, Stacy works to revitalize our neighborhoods and commercial areas.  She assists businesses in maneuvering through city hall and alerts them about available incentives.

Her first-hand experience in restoring blighted properties has laid the foundation for eliminating blight and streamlining the process to ensure that houses are put back into commerce.  She will continue to work to get the best uses of vacant public lands and buildings.

Stacy made a promise to you and she kept it.  She is a responsive leader who attends neighborhood meetings, listens and learns, and helps communities achieve the change they envision. She always responds when she is contacted.

Stacy is a strong voice for Charter Schools.  The improved test scores are proof that New Orleans is becoming a national leader for innovation and new ideas to provide our children a strong public school education.
